Beautiful Lake at the top called, Lake Marie, 10,500 ft. ASL. “I was so much Older then I’m Younger than that now!” Still not sure what that means but it seems relevant somehow. Made snow caves and spent the night in them. Pat can describe better than I some of our exploits in those mountains including being lost, and freezing because we gave our sleeping bags to some friends. Not sure I have swam enough laps to be in shape to do a hike like your message describes. I was looking for posts earlier, but for whatever reason, probably my PC skills or lack thereof, I didn’t see them. Just getting ready to read Day 7 now, which I think is the last post.
