Woke up to the roaring lions and Christian at our “front door” with coffee and biscuits. Perfect wakeup call…

Two game drives today. Set off at 6:30am with a packed breakfast on a slightly cloudy day. But the game did not disappoint. Crossed riverbeds and drove across the plains spotting game and experiencing the vastness of the Serengeti with herds of wildebeest, zebra and scattering of antelope – Grant gazelle, Thompson gazelle and impala (official McDonald’s of the bush). Lots of babies around, make for good food for the cats.

Mohammed set up a beautiful spread for breakfast and we enjoyed watching the wildebeest and looking out at the horizon while we sipped our coffee and tea and enjoyed breakfast in the bush… the photos tell the story…
