It was a 30 hour journey for Glenn and I to get to Rwanda and 28 for Wayne and Simonne. The welcome by &Beyond was just what we needed and they walked us through the immigration and covid testing seamlessly. Settling into our villa at The Retreat, waiting for the green light from a negative covid test and going to spend the day recharging and enjoying some downtime. Got a bit of work to do today before we start our true exploration… Here are some fun picks from our travels… including a lovely welcome basket of fruit and some bubbly to enjoy for sundowners. Your Rwanda quarters gives a whole new meaning to “roughing it” camping! I ‘might’ even get Pat to try it again if she had those accommodations. Her last camping adventure with me was in a tent in the Wyoming mountains…she froze. See Gorillas!! Randall&Pat
