Glenn is owning that chair and enjoying the environment… Food is sensational with many vegetarian options, fresh ingredients and salads. Photos tell it all… We took the opportunity to explore the property. Benjamin took us to the nursery where they are working on reforestation and irradicating the eucalyptus which is not indigenous to Rwanda. Then we walked through the onsite kitchen garden at Bisate Kwanda – this includes a day lounge, restaurant area and gift shop. Saw the tomato tree fruit and discovered a clever use of empty wine bottles – may have to adopt that for my garden! Glenn got an education on climbing beans and has 3 seeds for us to plant in LA. Lastly, I captured a couple of cool shots of our lodge…

The lodges look really fun!
It was, even more amazing is they completed it in under 1 year!
